The following evidence was never submitted to the jury.
Because the jury was not instructed on the free speech clause of
the Kansas Bill of Rights, there was no reason to present this
evidence. Without this instruction, truth is irrelevant in
the charge of blackmail outlined in the amended complaint ordered
by Judge John Anderson III.
Evidence never seen by
the Jury.
The following evidence was presented to the jury by District
Attorney Paul Morrison on June 13,2005. The letters were
redacted to omit any mention that the Bumble Bee was in
prison. The fact the the Bumble Bee was involuntarily
committed to the Kansas criminal Insane asylum was not redacted.
Evidence Entered by
Johnson County Prosecutor at trial.
On June
5, 2003 the Bumble Bee filed a pro se petition for a writ of
mandamus Conrad J. Braun v. Paul J. Morrison, 03CV3933.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office served Paul Morrison on
June 9, 2005. The Johnson County "blackmail"
charge was filed on June 12, 2003 and the Bumble Bee was arrested
his home on June 13, 2003. On August 18, 2005 Judge Janice Russell
rendered her decision now on appeal. In Kansas when a corrupt prosecutor and police department conspire
under color of law to commit fraud to secure convictions they are
home free so long as they can cover it up for one year! Only
in the Land of Oz!
